Knighton 
Jennifer
is a self taught artist who began painting on canvas but when
she found some antique ceiling tins she was inspired by the
already framed panels. She has been painting on these tins
since 2006 and most of the flowers she paints are actually
grown in her gardens. Recently she decided to enter some of
these tins in Juried Art Competitions. Her first "Best
in Show" was awarded at the Hart Regional Juried Art
Show in May of 2010. The Lyndon House Art Center in Athens,
Ga. recently chose one of her flower tins as part of their
36th Juried Exhibition.
Jennifer was born in Early Co. Georgia in 1943. Her career
includes being an eduacator, social worker and business owner.
She now paints full time and her work is exhibited in galleries
in Georgia and Mississippi.
